Happy Holidays from Freakgirl.com
Saturday, December 22, 2007 at 09:10amMerry Christmas from the Freak and the Geek! Thanks for another great year. As our gift to you, we’ve made a donation in the name of freakgirl.com’s readers to the charity Dogs 4 Diabetics. Dogs for Diabetics helps provide medical alert dogs to people living with diabetes. These dogs can sense changes in blood glucose levels and save their owner’s lives.
We make this donation in honor of the Geekboy’s sister Debby, who passed away in 1994 at age 31 of complications from juvenile diabetes.
Have a wonderful holiday weekend, whatever you celebrate or enjoy, and I’ll see you all sometime next week.

I had no idea dogs could do this.
That’s amazing.

It is amazing. I read an article in People magazine about medical dogs who can tell when their owner is about to have a seizure, or even ones that can detect cancer. Remarkable.

Happy Christmas Eve, all!
Please send your thoughts and love to the family of our reader Mel. Her 19-year-old nephew was killed in Iraq last week. I can’t put into words the sorrow we’re feeling for you and your family, Mel.
Peace to everyone.

Happy Happy to all. Though somber, it was a warm and loving holiday for us. We were even able to laugh as we shared stories. Thank you for your kind words.
