Happy Canada Day!
See you tomorrow! We’re looking forward to a short holiday getaway, even though it appears we are bringing Canada the rain that plagued us for the entire month of June. Sowwy. I’ll blog and tweet (sounds dirty!) during our little vacation, most likely. I need to remember to turn off my iPhone, though, or the charges accrued will be heavy. I can use it with WiFi, though, right? My plan is to just put it in “airplane mode” and see what kind of functionality I get.

I just got back from Canada. Put the iPhone in airplane mode, and then go back in and turn on WiFi and you’ll be all set. Not many places have free wifi, though (at least in Ottawa and Montreal where I was). I had the best luck in residential neighborhoods looking for the ol’ unprotected “linksys” SSIDs. Enjoy our neighbor to the north!

I’ll be able to use Maggie & Jeremy’s WiFi. Can you make phone calls using WiFi?
I know nothing about these things.
