I didn’t proof the yeast; the recipe says you don’t need to. Next time, I will, though.

Did you measure the temp of the water you dissolved the yeast in? When I had my pizza dough mishap a few months back I found out it was because the water wasn’t hot enough to activate the yeast causing it not to rise. Water that’s too hot will kill it though. From what I read the water has to be between 110-115 degrees F.
