   In honour of the day, we’ve been hit with a massive dumping of snow… which is sort of appropriate since I was actually born under very similar circumstances.

   Anyhow, I’ve taken the day off work and am going shopping with a friend to find a killer dress for the official celebration tomorrow night!

   Why do they call it the dirty 30s anyhow??

   I so far am loving my 30s! It is a good time in life, so enjoy.

   Despite the crappiness of travelling through it, the storm has made the city look much much nicer. Have a great day shopping.

   All we have is rain. I know you people in the midwest and Canada probably want to slap me, but I want snow so badly. I hate this grey cold rain.

    Heh, it’s not that bad. Or is it possible that you guys got more snow than we did today? It’s still snowing, but not much is falling. I’d say we got 3 inches.

    It’s pretty bad in the Toronto area - cars are slipping and sliding. I don’t know how much fell but it continued all day. It has stopped for now. I’m just worried tonight it’s going to freeze over. Gah. Maybe you guys got less up there?

    Rain rain rain rain FG? That’s a big bummer too.

    I heard it might freeze over Sandra! At least it’s really purty out.

    So, a very successful day at the mall. Not one, but two dresses! We rode the subway a lot… so I guess Michael would be jealous about that.

    Now it’s off for birthday sushi!

    Also? Mention of the mall has now put “Let’s go to the Mall” in my head.

    My mom and Natalie said it was crazy windy, with lots of blowing snow. And the roads are a mess. Here everything is okay. Outside the city there is more money for snowplowing! They’ve already done my street twice.
