I don’t know about your city’s recycling policies, but mine won’t let you recycle any paper products with food waste on them, so I question how recyclable this box truly is.
And even if you don’t bother, the box is still a good idea IMO. It keeps the pizza cycle in a closed loop. You’re not adding paper plates to the mix, or real plates that need water and energy to be cleaned. You’re not using foil or ziplocs or tupperware to store the leftovers.
I love that the bottom of the box folds into a smaller box. I typically store leftover pizza in the regular box & they’re always so big and bulky in my fridge. And I really love the plate idea.

Our pizza places here don’t use corrugated cardboard, so we can’t recycle them at all, unfortunately.
However — you can’t recycle the greasy parts, but you can cut those off and recycle the good parts:
