I just worked with Albert Maysles one the brothers that directed Grey Gardens. Fascinating man, also shot the first footage of the Beatles in the US as well as the infamous Gimme Shelter doc. Nice guy in his 80's and kept nodding off during down times!!! When he was awake though, he was a veritable cornucopia of stories. He's also putting together a doco. about his life, using some of the hours of uncut footage from his library. He said lots of candid Beatles and Stones stuff from the 60s. Should be another b'day present in the making!!! You got a good one there in GB!!!
