Good Birthday!

Thursday, October 04, 2007 at 09:08am

Last night’s birthday dinner was lovely; I had swordfish and peanut butter chocolate pie. Not at the same time, you see. The geekboy gave me some way cool gifts, too!

Thank you, sweetie!

Mo’ Beales! Mo’ Beales! Mo’ Beales! And more Jerry!

Peanut butter chocolate pie after swordfish? Insouciant!

Can I tell you a secret? I have only one YouTube subscription, and it’s to some queen who uploads 3 or 4 videos a week of him as Little Edie, commenting on current topics.

It’s absolutely hypnotic, and he’s DEAD ON as Little Edie, and only further fuels a Beales obsession. So happy birthday!

You got a good one there in GB!!!

I just worked with Albert Maysles one the brothers that directed Grey Gardens. Fascinating man, also shot the first footage of the Beatles in the US as well as the infamous Gimme Shelter doc.

Nice guy in his 80’s and kept nodding off during down times!!! When he was awake though, he was a veritable cornucopia of stories. He’s also putting together a doco. about his life, using some of the hours of uncut footage from his library. He said lots of candid Beatles and Stones stuff from the 60s.

Should be another b’day present in the making!!!

Bless you, keith! Those are funny and sad and amazing, just like the real thing. Five down, forty to go. Parse them out and just have an Edie orgy? Hmmmm….

I love that you got the Dana McKellar “Math Doesn’t Suck” book. Seriously, if you finish that and realize that math really DOESN’T suck, I will be amazed. Because even though she just puts math in terms of lipstick and make-up, I will always think that it sucks. I am rambling. I bid you adieu.
