Going to Florida

I’m very excited about freaknieces and family and sun and a cold beer every night at 5:00pm with my brother-in-law. However, I also feel depressed and melancholy and I don’t know what else. Whenever I spend money I feel terribly guilty about it, I feel like I’m leaving the geekboy behind while I go on vacation, I feel like I get in the way at my sister’s house, I feel I I I me me me me I I me.
Seriously. WTF.

I get the exact same feeling whenever I go somewhere without my girlfriend. Is the money thing a “I make more money than you so I can spend more” thing? That’s what it is for us, and she doesn’t like spending my money. I’m always happy to pay for her when we go places and she can’t afford it.

I think it’s sort of like that…I’m not making as much money as I should be right now and it’s wearing on me as I try to figure out what to do next.

Well, I certainly am good at doing the dishes. Plus, Freakniece #1 is on spring vacation that week, and I’m sure we can find some trouble to get in together…

at least you can say you feel like you’re leaving geekboy alone for a week. i leave for a weekend and i feel absolutely horrible the entire time thinking about my doggie staying with my parents b/c they won’t let him on the couch!
