Girl’s Night Out
Last night a few of us wimmin went out for a post-holiday dinner. Lisa and I met up with Janet, Greater Czarina and Bluebunny at this restaurant. Good stuff. We had some delicious red wine, a great dinner (I had the tuna, although I scraped off the fennel, because, ew), decadent dessert (chocolate s’mores tart, bitch), and then some more wine at the bar. A lovely evening. Tonight I meet up with my friend Laura for a more casual night of margaritas and chips. Woot woot!

I like fennel. I’ve never had it cooked in any way, though. My mom got some once and cut it up very fine and added it to salada and it was pretty good. But I knew it tasted like licorice, though.

we likes the fennel. cut the bulbs, and pan-fry ‘em in a wee bit o’ oil. good tastes.
