Walter, I heard the sad news today at work, and the one thing I wanted to do was make the saving throw comment, but was afraid someone else would beat me to it by the time I got home. My back up was the resurrection spell comment, which the other Andrew beat me too. Looks like my wisdom and intelligence are 18, but I have that 8 dexterity.

Anyway, I loved the game, and was a fan of Gary too. Rest in piece.

Man, if only I had paid 200gp for that Resurrection Spell when it was on offer, Gary would have at least a few HP left.

I’m not aware of who he is (but can see he had something to do with D&D from the posts) but his name made me think of Gary Gnu from the Great Space Coaster.
