The freaknieces called the other night to wish Geekboy a happy birthday. They are too cute. When Freakniece #2 got on the phone, she asked me repeatedly if I was going to come over. Actually, what she said was, “YOU COME TO MY HOUSE YES?” She is killing me. I finally said, “Why don’t you come visit our house?” and after a pause, she plaintively bleated, “BUT I DON’T KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE!” She asked the geekboy if he was going to have cake (”YOU HAVE CAKE?”) and he told her that Aunt Freakgirl had baked a carrot cake. She then handed the phone off to my brother-in-law, informing him, “UNCLE GEEKBOY HAVE CAKE AND ALSO A CARROT!”
