For the past few days, I have been mulling over getting another indoor cat. I have the crazy indoor cat (Meena), and then the stray I adopted, who lives outside (L.L.). The office next to us is overrun with kittens because the assholic woman who works there started feeding the strays and didn’t bother getting any of them spayed. So I was thinking of adopting one. Then, today at lunch, I was talking to my co-worker Sam, who was telling me how he needs to get rid of his cats. (which I totally do not understand, but that’s his business, I guess.) Anyway, he’s given the boy cat away already and asked me if I was interested in taking the girl cat. The idea sounds tempting; I have wondered how Meena would do if she had a friend. The new cat is five years old and apparently is quite friendly. I was thinking of taking her for a week and see if the two of them get along. The only thing that is holding me back is that I have a fear of turning into The Old Single Creepy Cat Lady. Thoughts???
