So…What’s Up With You Guys?

Today was my first Monday at the new job. I had a nice day, actually, even though I sat and ate my sad little sandwich alone in my cube like Milton from Office Space. I won’t even get into the fact that I couldn’t figure out how to work my stapler. Later this week I hope to run out during lunch and achieve some holiday shopping. I did do some of that over the weekend — and bought this for a friend’s son. I cannot frakking wait to watch him running around the house with it on his head. I love being the auntie; I can buy the horrible noisy toys and then go home and sleep peacefully.

I also bought some new clothes (well, Mom bought most of them, really, GO MOM). I’m happy to say that I achieved a goal size in pants, finally. Of course I think these pants run big and they fit me a little bit snug, but they are the goal size and they fit and you can believe I own those bad boys right now! Even though I bought some jeans later that day one size larger, I still count it as a win.

Many of you know that I kind of lust after the guy that plays Cappie on Greek. I just found out that Lea Thompson is going to play his mom on the show. Lea Thompson, Miss Amanda Jones, who is only seven years older than me, is going to play CAPPIE’S MOM. I feel dirty.
