Keane @ The Wellmont Theater

Last night we saw Keane at the Wellmont Theater in Montclair, NJ. “We” meaning me, Lisa and Janet. We’d never been to this venue before and I really, really liked it. We’ll be going back soon, hopefully for Cyndi Lauper in August. But to the matter at hand — Keane was fantastic.
How Sesame Street Changed the World
…Yet it’s only rated #15 among kids shows. Thanks a lot, SpongeBob. You may not have taught me to count in Spanish, or learn about people different than myself, or given me the skills to cope with grief, or remember the stick of butter, loaf of bread and a container of milk, but you’ve certainly taught me it’s funny to fart and berate people. We’re now three-quarters done with Boot Camp. One more week to go! As I do every Friday, I weighed myself this morning. I’ve gained more weight. Almost two pounds! I know it’s not supposed to be about weight, it’s supposed to be about measurements, but COME ON. I just feel…frustrated.
