Meena & Long Legs

You won’t find anyone more repulsed by Sarah Palin than me, but do read this before forwarding the supposed “Books Banned by Sarah Palin” email that’s going around. It hit the web like wildfire yesterday and certainly sounded believable, but it’s not. Seriously, there are so many TRUE horror stories about her. Let’s stick with those.

Over the weekend, we watched Michel Gondry’s The Science of Sleep. I really liked it. Gael García Bernal was excellent; the dream scenes were amazing and whimsical. It was a strange and rather scary look into what I can only imagine is what schizophrenia feels like. Also, does anyone know where I can get a Disastrology calendar? Trailer after the jump. Happy Monday, all! How was your weekend? I feel like I spent mine preparing food, and then eating food. Our friends had a get-together at their house yesterday — a joint birthday party for their two daughters. We also held our first (probably of many) Iron Chef competition. The selected ingredient was CHEESE, and you must believe me when I tell you that I’m probably not going to be able to eat cheese for a long time. Heh. Everything was delicious, though.
