Why, for the past several years, have I been under the incorrect assumption that Joss Whedon is gay?

I rented a car during my trip to Florida. This meant that, at some point, I was going to have to pump gas. Being a Jersey girl, this is an unfamiliar experience for me. Anything fun planned for this weekend? Aside from laundry, working out (after my long break) and catching up on the TiVo backlog, I’m going to see Spring Awakening with some friends. Cannot wait.

You guys know how I’m always scrambling for freelance work. I still am, but here’s something positive — thanks to Chuck, I’m now a contributing writer to the awesome Discovery Communications website How Stuff Works. I’ve been writing on environmental topics, which is right up my alley and so far has been really interesting. And my first article was posted yesterday! You can read it here.

It’s not some huge work of art or anything, but I’m quite proud, as I’ve always wanted to be able to say that I get paid to write. And now I do. So yay for me.
