I can’t get enough of Flight of the Conchords. Having just found out that HBO just launched its own YouTube channel, I rushed over to check it out. Guess what? Mel has a ton of video blogs! Awesome.
Meena is Psychotic
I just watched Meena stroll across my desk, sniff around and then daintily pick up a thumbtack with her teeth, presumably to eat. And she was incredibly angry when I slapped it out of her mouth. I am at a loss. Last week, the geekboy and I had to start covering our toothbrushes with a paper cup, as I caught her LICKING our brushes when she thought I wasn’t looking. How long has she been doing that? Do I want to know? Right now she is sitting next to me on the desk, staring at me hard enough to burn a hole into my face.
What’s Your Favorite Mascara?
I recently purchased some new mascara and decided to switch up from the reliable old pink and green tube, as it was sometimes thick and clumpy. Instead I purchased some Full ‘n Soft Waterproof. It went on neatly and wasn’t too heavy and looked great. I have to use waterproof because I sometimes wear contacts and I rub my eyes a lot. At the end of the day I looked a TRANNY MESS, you guys. Waterproof, my ass.
What’s your favorite, smudge- and water-proof, everyday mascara?
Homemade Wrinkle Releaser
I’ve mentioned before that Downy Wrinkle Release is one of my very favorite things in the world, but it’s tough to find sometimes. Guess what? You can make it yourself. Very cool. Sometimes we have items of clothing that simply need a tiny bit of help and I’m too lazy to pull out the ironing board. And the bonus is that I can use my environmentally-friendly fabric softener to make it! [via]
Isn’t It Ironic?
I went to the doctor the other day, and she diagnosed me with allergy-induced asthma. Can you believe that shit? I’m coming up on one full year smoke-free and it ends up being allergies that attack my lungs. Ain’t that a kick in the crotch? She’s put me on this stuff, along with an inhaler I’m supposed to use before working out. Understand that this is very mild; it’s just enough to be annoying. Anyone have a similar experience? Any thoughts/advice?
iTunes Problem – Help!
I won’t be around for most of the day, so here’s something to chew on. The other day my iTunes software did one of those automatic updates…I usually don’t update right when the new software comes out, but I was distracted and clicked OK to update. Whatever. This morning I opened iTunes (I wanted to do a few things before syncing my iPod), and an alert came up and asked me where my iTunes library was. WHAT? Not once since I started using iTunes have I ever seen that question.
I keep my music on an external drive, not the C: drive where it usually lives. So I searched around and found an .itl file and selected it. iTunes opened up a library that is several years old and obviously INCORRECT. Now I don’t know what to do. I’m certainly not going to sync my iPod. And my mp3s are all safe and sound where they usually are, but I can’t get iTunes to find them or any of my playlists.
Does anyone have any advice? Because I am pissed as hell. By the way, this is on my PC.
