I Am Freaking Out

Earlier this morning I noticed a centipede skitter underneath the bar. A few moments ago, I noticed it up near the ceiling. A few seconds ago, I HEARD IT FALL FROM THE CEILING AND OHMYGOD I CAN’T FIND IT. My skin feels like it’s crawling off my body.

The Washer of DEATH!

I mentioned the other day that we were having an issue with finding blood for my costume for the party this weekend; blood that would stay red when it dried instead of the brown it is now, which looks like crap. The geekboy made some homemade stuff last night and applied it to a small piece of the dress, and this morning it was dry and still red. So the geekboy suggested I try washing the brown blood out of the dress and we can start over. Ladies and gentlemen, I am pleased to present to you THE WASHER OF DEATH! So ew.

You’d Think We Lived on Mars

I just had to send a fax to our real-estate lawyer. Why, you ask, would I have to be in contact with them when we moved exactly three months ago? Because they sent us the Deed yesterday and it has the wrong address on it. Nobody can spell our street. People take wild guesses, are sometimes close, sometimes not, yet our mail still makes it here. The thing that vexes me is that our street name is not that difficult. It’s not like we live on “Slksdfkh9clasz0eis0 Avenue” or something. Seriously. So it seems that the geekboy and I own a townhouse on a street that doesn’t exist. Imaginary real estate, people, it’s the wave of the future. Come visit us – just fade into the ether and float around until you find us.

Another thing that annoys me is that I see that the previous owner signed all this paperwork with the incorrect address. I will have to assume that either a) he can’t read; or b) he thought it would be funny.

Flavor Flav’s new video. There are no words. I’m loathe to say it’s pathetic, as I do enjoy me some Flavor Flav. But this? Eeek. Flava-flava-flava-man…

Beck – Clap Hands

SNL still pretty much blows, but this past weekend Beck performed “Clap Hands” and it was fantastic. I can’t find video of the SNL performance, but I did find this version from another show. Creative and cool.
