In Canada
We’re here! Arrived yesterday after 9 1/2 hours in the car. My back was feeling okay until this morning; right now I’m very sore. But wine will help. This afternoon we visited a butterfly conservatory; it was lovely. I took lots of pictures, although I don’t know how they’ll come out with my lower-end camera. But Maggie took tons, and she has a great camera. I can’t wait to see all the pics. Two butterflies landed on my shoulder and back; it was so neat. We had pizza with Maggie’s family earlier, and tonight Maggie and I plan to paint our toes and test out the various LUSH products we picked up at the store. Tomorrow is Canada Day, lots of party lots of wow. I miss you all!
Oh, Canada
As you read this, we should be off on our trip to Canada. The geekboy will be driving, and I will be the drooling monkey in the passenger seat clutching a bottle of pills. We’re absolutely fabulous! We’ll be having a small bbq on Saturday, and then Sunday, if weather permits, we’ll go to the drive-in to see Superman. I’m really looking forward to visiting and seeing everyone. Hooray for vacation!

Friendly Neighbor Television
A few years ago, freakgirl’s very own Chuck used to make short films along with a friend. Thanks to YouTube, those films are now available for all to see. They’re all quite entertaining, but I think I like Technical Knockout the best.

Kathy Griffin’s trip to Iraq
On Kathy Griffin’s Bravo show, they’ve documented her trip to Iraq to perform for the soldiers. Even if you don’t care for Kathy, Andy over at Reality Blurred points out that the show has managed to capture what’s really going on over there for our troops a million times better than any of our news shows. Catch both episodes tonight if you can.
Limbaugh detained at Palm Beach airport
The drug was “labeled as being issued to the physician rather than Mr. Limbaugh for privacy purposes.” Ha ha, so much for that.
