My eyes hurt today. They feel swollen and hot and too big for my head. I should take an allergy pill and see if it helps, but I keep forgetting. I had to run an errand today near the geekboy’s office, so I met him and Janet for lunch, which was nice. I came home, eyes all hurty, hoping to lie down for only a minute, but the emails, they just keep coming. Sending me a big giant marked up version of what I submitted yesterday, then re-sending it ten minutes later with more marks, then calling me to see if I got the email and could I turn on my fax machine because he drew me a picture of his ideas and I honestly have no fucking idea what I’m supposed to do with that and then another email amending the second version of the document he sent fifteen minutes ago and at this point it’s not even clear to me what I’m supposed to do with all this, all I know is that my head aches, my eyes are falling out and my brain is starting to leak out of my ears. And this is my “good” client.
