Yesterday I strong-armed our friend Ferd (okay, actually I just asked) into having a bbq when the Canadians come visit because his yard is nicer than ours and so is his grill and we’re going to be in that part of NJ that day anyway. Could I be more selfish? Funnier still, instead of laughing in my face, as any normal person should do, he agreed. In return, I’ve promised him all of us to help set up, cook, and bring food and drink. If you’re part of the usual suspects in the freakgirl gang, pencil in August 13th on your calendar.

My neighbor is in the process of getting her certification as a yoga instructor, and in order to do that she needs to practice her teaching methods. So guess who had her first private yoga session for free today? That’s right bitches, ME. We practiced outside near the shade trees, which was very peaceful (except for the ants crawling into my bra). I feel all loosey-goosey now. Maybe next session I’ll wear my favorite tee-shirt.
