Warning! Cute kid pictures ahead. I’m back…although some of my luggage is apparently still in Florida. Thanks, Tampa luggage guys! I hope to get it back tonight. Well, my Key West trip is coming to an end. I fly home tomorrow afternoon…back to the cold weather. Things here are good, although the new baby doesn’t seem to want to sleep at night. The lack of sleep is taking a toll on my sister, so I’m hoping the little one settles in a routine soon. In other most excellent news, this morning around 8:00am, my sister’s best buddy Whitney gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Her due date wasn’t for about 1 1/2 weeks or so, but everything is great. And, today a good friend of mine celebrates her last day of work before maternity leave. Baby fever, people, it’s the new thing. This is one trend I’ll sit out, thank you very much. See you all on Monday!

IT’S A(nother) GIRL!!! She was born around 5:30 this morning, and looks just like her big sister. Everyone is happy and healthy. I’ll be going back to the hospital later this afternoon…in the meantime I have to stay off the internet so I don’t read about the Sex & The City finale. I won’t see it until this weekend when I get home. So don’t tell me anything. More soon!

The weather has turned lovely here in Key West, and I got to sit in the sun for awhile today and coax my freckles out from their winter hibernation. Things would be even better if my sister had her baby; she’s now a couple of days overdue and I think she’s getting a bit frustrated. Every time I ask my niece when the baby’s coming, she says “Saturday!” so we’re hoping that maybe she’s psychic. Cross your fingers and I’ll let you all know when it happens. In the meantime, I intend to work some more on my tan and read another Disney book for the 100th time to my niece.

Here I am in Key West…you’ll be pleased to hear that the weather is kind of crap right now. Chilly and overcast. However, I AM in a t-shirt, jeans, and bare feet, so it’s still better than the Northeast, I reckon. Hopefully I’ll get a few sunny, warm days. My niece is taking a nap right now; we spent the day together. She is hilarious. Non-stop action with this one. No sign of the new baby yet. My sister is extremely ready to have this kid…I hope it comes soon, for all our sakes. My niece keeps pointing at her tummy and telling me, “The baby’s coming pretty soon!” Freak.
