Clean Carpets

Yesterday I had the carpets professionally cleaned. You wouldn’t think that something so trivial would make me so happy. You’d be wrong.

    Who’d you use?
    My son got marker ink on my brother’s carpet, and my s-i-l said not to worry, and pulled out a can of Spot Shot and I watched it dissolve in front of my eyes! I have to find some of that stuff - she said it’s not hard to find.

    Spot Shot is THE BEST. You can find it at almost any grocery store or Target.

    I used Carpet Maintenance in Bridgewater. My mom recommended them. They were cheap and so far the carpets look great. I had three areas that were stained from old spills and ground-in dirt and things like that. All gone!

    Let us know if the spots stay gone after a few weeks. Stanley Steamer has some weird way of making you think they cleanied the carpets, but weeks later all the spots (sometimes more!) creep back out.

    Yeah, I’m nervous about that. I should actually run the Dyson today to pull out any stuff that may have been loosened by the cleaning; before it settles back into the fibers.

    I should actually run the Dyson today to pull out any stuff that may have been loosened by the cleaning; before it settles back into the fibers.
