Cinnamon oil is also supposed to deter sugar ants, though the ants I have are undeterable.

Really? I don’t have a problem with sugar ants, but they are one of the more annoying things about Florida. Cindi, have you tried this?

I’ve tried everything, vinegar, chilli pepper paste, mint, bay leaves, all out grow-a-third-arm poisons, and my ants march happily through, but the internets says it works.
