Boy, I am really sore from my stupid bike wreck. I know it’s from the crash and not just sore muscles, as my entire left side feels just fine. My right side, on the other hand, is quite ouch. My bruise is becoming bigger and more colorful; lovely, really.

Today is another busy day. Work stuff, more work stuff, then tonight — Flight of The Conchords at Town Hall in NYC. So excited!!!

Iron Man giveaway going on over at TMFT!

After work yesterday, I drove over to Beth’s house, changed into biking clothes, and we drove down to the D&R Canal towpath, where we cycled about 12 or 14 miles together. Aside from the bugs, WHICH WERE LEGION, it was a good ride. We chatted but rode hard enough to feel it later, saw a lot of ducks, a couple of weirdos, and ended the evening with mega-calorie-and-totally-worth it meal with some lovely pinot grigio to wash it all down. I truly enjoy evenings out with Beth, as they are few and far between due to her job demands. Beth is someone who doesn’t tolerate bullshit of any kind, and I (probably too often) use her as a sounding board/sanity check. The two of us have a similar outlook on life; one without the incessant navel-gazing that seems to plague so many people. I know that makes me sound like an incredible bitch. I’m okay with that. So yeah, a good evening. Thanks, friend!

So, I strolled into the hair salon today for a trim. My hairdresser was appalled at the state of my hair, and I don’t blame her one bit. I’ve colored it from a box too much and it’s all dried out and has no life. It was too long and I couldn’t do anything with it, really. So she asked me if she could please, please, please fix the color because it was driving her insane. I figured why not, and told her to cut off a bunch of it while she was at it. Hey all, I’m home from Florida, safe and sound! The trip back was extremely turbulent and therefore a bit unsettling, but I got to catch a couple episodes of Ace of Cakes, so I’m all good. I already miss the Florida weather, though. Spring, please!

Tomorrow is going to be a very busy day, as I’m on a deadline, so I probably won’t get to post my photos until the weekend or Monday. Now I’m off to snuggle with the geekboy and the cats (maybe not in that order, heh heh).
