Thought I’d give the blog a little facelift in honor of the season.

I added a “comment preview” feature. Check it out, give it a test run and let me know what you think. I’d rather have cuter buttons than the dull grey ones, but maybe the geekboy can work his mad nerd skillz later or something.

You might have noticed the blog was down for a while today. The geekboy successfully fought off an incredible spam attack. Hooray, we are victorious!!!

According to my blog stats, this is the 10,004th post on freakgirl.com. Since I started keeping track in 2001, at least. WOW! Can you believe it? Fitting that my 10,000th post was something snarky about Dick Cheney. Anyway, congratulations to me and congratulations to all of you! Can you believe you’ve wasted that much time here? Maggie has reported that the blog is making her enter a captcha every time she comments. You really should only have to do that once, if at all. Anyone else seeing the same behavior on multiple comments?

When you look at those Amazon ads on the right-hand side, what do you see? Do they change each time you visit the page? What kinds of ads are you seeing? Anything that interests you? I’m just curious.
