Congrats to How Stuff Works for winning the People’s Voice Award for Best Copy/Writing. W00t!
Hey guys, voting for the Webby People’s Voice awards ends today, so how about you go over and vote for How Stuff Works in the Best Copy/Writing category? A vote for them is a vote for Chuck! And for me! Yes, you have to register, but suck it up and do it. DO IT.
My latest article — How Seed Banks Work. Hey, they can’t all be fascinating. And yes, I do realize that in the first paragraph it says “breath” instead of “breathe.”
Congrats to How Stuff Works for their Webby nomination!
You guys know how I’m always scrambling for freelance work. I still am, but here’s something positive — thanks to Chuck, I’m now a contributing writer to the awesome Discovery Communications website How Stuff Works. I’ve been writing on environmental topics, which is right up my alley and so far has been really interesting. And my first article was posted yesterday! You can read it here.
It’s not some huge work of art or anything, but I’m quite proud, as I’ve always wanted to be able to say that I get paid to write. And now I do. So yay for me.
Our very own Chuckwagon got hisself a gig at HowStuffWorks.com. His first article was published today. Yay!
