I think the most shocking part is the 40 billion dollar increase for the defense budget and the “bloated” bill of four billion dollar increase for social spending. These numbers are all huge, but the veto is against a small increase percentage wise. Even with earmarks and special projects, the four billion dollar increase is paltry compared to a 40 billion dollar military increase. A Christian nation indeed. Jesus would have wanted it that way.
