Waterproof mascara can be so hard to get off. How does this one wash away? What kind of remover do you use?

I use Noxema to wash my face and it usually gets most of it off. I don’t wear it every day, so I don’t really worry much about it. I probably should, huh?

ok i’ve tried another kind like this - the two step mascara and i LOVED the way it looked. but i noticed after a few hours, the mascara would fade at the base of my eye lashes and my lashes looked like they turned from white to black. it was odd…and not cool odd either!
so my question is - the base coat you apply - is it crazy white? and the mascara - it doesn’t fade off?!?!
i tried it when the idea was new, so i’m sure there have been advances, but i’ve been hesitant to do it again, but i’m going insane with my hatred for my latest stupid mascara purchase…

The base coat is pretty white and I haven’t noticed that the mascara fades off. But I haven’t been looking, either.

Carmindy used something like that on “What Not To Wear” last week.
Sidenote- When I was on hold with the salon recently, the recorded voice touted the phenomenon that is sweeping the nation– eyelash extensions. Don’t think I wasn’t tempted.

Eyelash extensions? Oy.

Would it be obvious? Heh.

Noxema? I haven’t tried that as an adult. I tried it as a teen and it was way too greasy for me. I love the smell. I may get a small pot and try it, or maybe just for once a week if it’s too greasy still.

Maggie, I actually use this:

I love Noxema, though, both this (which has helped my skin quite a bit) and the original stuff in the little pot. I love the smell!

WOW I have not used Noxema in like forever–I had HEARD that it was actually bad for your skin (prob. not even true).
He he it was back in the day when all my sis and I used was Noxema and Ten-O Six (Bonnie Bell) and or Sea Breeze.
I never wear mascara cause I can never find a brand I like (flakes off or smudges)I may try this.

Hey I don’t know how I got the mad face on my previous post I wanted to say 10 06.
freakgirl on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 2:33 pm
It was from putting the x and the parentheses close together. I fixed it.

That made me snort, Soosan.
Soosan on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at 9:33 am
hee!
I can’t take full credit… I was referencing an older post about hidden sandwich pickles being “on notice”.
Glad I could get you to snort though.
