Brrrrrrrr. That almost makes me wish I watched The View. Almost. So are they still adding Rosie O’Donnell? I say they toss Kathy Griffin into the mix. How good would that be?

Kathy’s banned from The View, right? I know she and Star hated each other, but didn’t she also mix it up with Barbara? I can’t remember.
Feel free to use “kerfuffle.” It’s a word that deserves more popularity.

Yes, it’s just a pipedream, Kathy is banned. She mixed it up with Barbara over ::gay inhale:: Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones. Kathy recapped it on one of her shows. It was lish.

So, by Barbara’s own admission, Star was canned and told she could say anything she wanted about why she’s leaving the show with the support of the network. She did, and now Barbara and ABC are pissed she made the announcement a couple of days early and DOUBLE DOG canned her! Wow.
And Rosie O’Donnell really doesn’t have much to say as far as I’m concerned, re: calling Jones a liar because she doesn’t openly discuss her gastric bypass surgery. Rosie lived a lie the whole time her own show was on the air so as not to offend her audience and jeopardize her ratings. Or am I crazy?

Good points, all of them. I have no logic to back up any of my thoughts, but here goes. I loathe Star, so I revel in her firing. And Rosie was on my nerves for such a long time, but her charity work sort of makes up for it in my mind.

I agree, Maggie, that’s a good point about Rosie that I hadn’t considered. I’m guessing it’s because I do the same thing she did every day. Not for ratings, of course. For cash.

I think I have watched the show a total of 4 times since it has been on.
The only host I ever liked on there was Debbie(back in the day when it 1st started).
One episode I did catch a bit of was when they were talking about household cleaners and Barbara Wawa did’t even know what 409 was(LOL-you know her prissy little butt has never cleaned anything).

I loathe all those View bitches and when the show first came to be, I was totally unimpressed that someone with a career like Barbara Walters invented the bitchiest coffee klatch ever to EVER. I find it highly amusing both that Star got canned AND that Rosie wants to join this group. Wawa’s response was so embarassing. Particularly since while Star announced she was leaving, they all held hands and sang Koombaya. What a bunch of morons. Don’t even get me started on Elisabeth.
Rosie’s charity work is great, but she’s still a dolt. Someone once told me I look like her. I ate their liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti.
Next time I’ll tell you how I really feel! ;)
