Another kitten picture, for Mihow. In case anyone was wondering how they are doing – they are having a ball. They’re growing fast, although Jack is still the runt. His sisters don’t like to let him eat with them, so he sneaks in his meals while they’re sleeping. All three now purr when we pet them, and aren’t afraid of us anymore when we go into the bathroom to hang out. They’re jumping high and causing all sorts of trouble, and love to wrestle with each other. Later on today I have to take them over to the shelter to get weighed again, and I think they need some more worm medicine or shots; can’t remember which. When they reach 2 pounds, they can be neutered and will become adoptable. Last week the girls were 1.2 pounds apiece, and Jack was just 1 pound. I’m curious to see how much they’ve gained in a week. I will deeply miss them when they finally have to leave, but that’s what it’s all about, I guess. I worked at the shelter on Saturday, and the place is knee-deep in kittens, unfortunately. We had a good adoption day, though – lots of people came to look and adopt, which was nice to see.
