10,000 Posts!

According to my blog stats, this is the 10,004th post on freakgirl.com. Since I started keeping track in 2001, at least. WOW! Can you believe it? Fitting that my 10,000th post was something snarky about Dick Cheney. Anyway, congratulations to me and congratulations to all of you! Can you believe you’ve wasted that much time here? Give yourselves a round of applause.

    I just did a quick check, and amazingly, only 105 of those posts were about Ben Affleck. I would have expected that number to be much higher.

    You know, I don’t even remember when or how I stumbled into the Freakworld but visiting this blog has become an integral part of my morning routine. It has been a welcome breeze of humor and goofiness that has seen me through more than one horrible temp/admin job. So, cheers on the milestone, FG!

    My first stop here was in 2001 when a friend forwarded me a link to the “Goodbye to 90210″ post. I just about peed my pants from the laughing, and have been a daily reader ever since. Yay Freakgirl!

    Yeah, what Suz said. Somehow I found this place, I think it was the New Jersey aspect that caught my eye orginally (being from there) and I’ve been here ever since. Some days I don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t visit daily to get away from my boring job for a moment. Congratulations, thanks for doing it and here’s to 10,000 more! #

    I found you through the now defunked slatch.com back in 2002 I believe. I was 22, had just started a new job and was living in a crappy apartment across the hall from actual carnival people. Now I’m 27 I just bought a house in May, and got laid off last week. Look how far we’ve come!

    I always know I can get a laugh from something posted here.
    I found you thorugh another website (I can’t even remember what it was) and glad I can visit when I need a good laugh and some comfort if life is just wayy too crappy.
